Oh my goodness. Well, I finally decided to get a mesh head!

I have been putting this off for quite some time because I didn’t want to change what I look like. I’ve been in Second Life since 2006 and my shape and face are “me” – I thought, “If I get a mesh head, I won’t be Izzy anymore!”
I am “old school” and set in my ways when it comes to SL. It also took me a long time to get a mesh body, but…system hands and feet are ugly, so I didn’t mind that change too much. Plus, it was getting really difficult to find system clothing. Most clothing creators were switching to only mesh.
Now it seems that many of the skin creators are doing the same. I see so many new releases and some are only for mesh heads. Well, what about my old 2006-2010-era system face? 😦 Guess I better get with the times! Adapt or die. Survival of the fittest, right?! 🙂
So here’s the new Isobel. I tried to get as close as I could to my old look. I went through so many mesh heads and finally decided LAQ was for me!

Originally rezzed into Second Life in 2006 as Undaunted Vacirca, I first created Isobel as an alt roleplay character, but abandoned that storyline and started logging her when I had downtime from RP.
Most of my time over the years has been spent as a faerie, drow, kitsune, undine – something-or-other. Even ‘out of charcter’ (not roleplaying) in human form, it’s difficult for me to put away the wings and elf ears, so you may see them slip through my human facade from time to time.
What does Izzy like to do? Explore, Gacha, and Landscape Design hit the top of the list. All this time in Second Life, you’d think by now I’d have started to actually CREATE something. I always said I’d open a wing store some day. That never came to fruition. I stayed too busy roleplaying. Then someone introduced me to the addiction that is GACHA and now my inventory is a FRIGHTENING PLACE.
